Warm Chili!

I found this great chili recipe on RecipeZaar and we made it in the crock pot over the weekend. It's a great recipe but it makes a LOT of chili. My big crock pot was completely full and slopped over the sides a little when we stirred it. We used stew beef and discovered that we probably should have cut the chunks into smaller pieces because the chunks of beef were awfully large. The spicy factor was just right ... pretty spicy for me, and all right for Derek. I think he's going to add a little cayenne to his bowl tonight. I serve the chili with Jiffy Corn Muffins for a delicious meal.

We made the chili as the recipe stated except that I did not add a bottle of chipotle chilis, and we added one small chopped up habanero pepper and three small jalapenos (all de-seeded). Derek also added about 1/3 bottle of beer to help tenderize the meat.
